Locker Hygiene

This is something i would keep in mind you don’t know who was the previous owner of your locker plus its metal and metal can catch bacteria, so what I would do is first clean your locker before putting items inside and do a regular clean either every month for every year this is just an optional idea but I think its a good thing to do especially if there was a cold coming along.

Tape decorating your locker

Tape I think is a great way of decorating your locker and here’s why; a type of tape is washi tape which is personised tape that has patterns glitter and all sorts great for decor right? The best part of it all but not so exciting is that it comes off easily, which is wonderful so then if you want to change themes then you can peel it off and redo. Speaking of themes comes to my next point.

Give your locker a great new Theme

The theme is the topic you decorate an area so for example like a Halloween theme or an ice cream theme. And with the help of washi tape, you can do that depending on the colour or pattern of the tape. Here are some ideas for themes: food like burgers, pizza, ice cream, chocolate and colours like blue (if the colour of your locker was blue if you added a lighter blue it would be a great contrast) and simple patterns for a minimalistic look. If you are interested in washi tape or any arts and crafts there is some link to some amazon products that you can buy it included some arts and crafts and some washi tape.

Bring the Arts and Crafts movement to your locker space

If you’re a creative person, I bet you will love this. Adding a personalised touch to your locker is a great thing to do and a fun arts and crafts time when you’re bored at home. Origami is a fun paper involved craft where it’s all about folding, quilling (where your role up the paper and stick it on a piece of paper) or a simple drawing and just stick it with tape or blur tak. Blur tak is awesome to use and can be a sensory toy but you can also add ink to dye it the colour you add-in and it looks really cool and nice to make but there is white tak that will make your life easier to show more colour and the blue tak well you just need to know your primary and secondary colours. Yet again I have some link for you to buy this product to make your life easier.

Be Practical with your locker space

Don’t make the mistake where your locker is like your room it has literally everything, including unnecessary items. When I mean being practical don’t overload with a bunch of items just have the crucial items plus is you have sports or pe then you will need some space to put a bag in.I would say only have books pens and your personal stuff eg. keys, bus pass, phone.

If you do think there’s plenty of room then I would say decorate it but be reasonable, despite that, it’s your locker do what you want with it make it your own this article is just giving you some ideas and tips. I know that this is a lot of things for a locker but that’s because there are many options that people won’t like some people want to do crafts but not the organising or the opposite I’ve just added a lot of options to make it way more fun doing thing people might find boring. Hope you enjoy reading.
